Hi, My name is Marie Fredriksson Karvelas and I live with my family on our organic farm one of the beautiful islands in Lake Mälaren, in the close vicinity of Stockholm City, Sweden.
I have an academic past in arts and humanities and linguistics and I have attended a one-year course in stage make-up and design. My profession is language editing and I have been working for publishing houses and institutions, but during the years I have also been working in such different fields as a finance company, an archaeological museum, a radio channel, restaurants, coffe-shops and gift-shops both in Sweden and abroad, and with some international theatrical productions.
I'm committed to environmental issues and animal welfare. Always curious and eager to learn new things. I'm building a new business that I'm excited to tell you more about soon.
