Hi, My name is Marie Fredriksson Karvelas and I live with my family on our organic farm on one of the beautiful islands in Lake Mälaren, in the close vicinity of Stockholm City, Sweden.
I have an academic past in arts and humanities and linguistics and I have attended a one-year course in stage make-up and design. My profession is language editing and I have been working for publishing houses and institutions, but during the years I have also been working in such different fields as a finance company, an archaeological museum, a radio channel, restaurants, coffe-shops and gift-shops both in Sweden and abroad, and with some international theatrical productions.
I'm committed to environmental issues, animal welfare and global ethics. Always curious and eager to learn new things. I'm building a new sustainable design business that I'm excited to tell you more about soon.
