Established in 1965 by father and son Elg, the company specialized early in the technique of transferring décors to porcelain and ceramics. From the middle of the 1970s and onwards the company was the leading manufacturer in Sweden for wall plates and in great demand by the internationally leading collector's item companies such as Bradford Exchange in Switzerland and AnnaPerenna in New Rochelle, NY, USA.
