The motif in black and white shows Swedish King Carl XV and the Queen Dowager Josefina at the Royal Skating Track at Kastellholmen Stockholm City, Sweden. It is taken from a woodcut by artist G.W. Palm (1862) in adaption by Karin Björquist. Hand-gravure by artist Björn Olsson.
The plate is made in bone china in a series of 2,200 pieces of which 700 comes with First Day Print in pure gold. It comes mint in box. The box is in excellent condition.
