Made in England in 1997 in a limited edition of 500. This bear is # 111.
This nice and friendly bear was designed by Jacqueline Revitt for Merrythought. The inspiration came from the song "Your Teddy Bear".
This is a musical bear, i.e. he has a music box inside playing the "Your Teddy Bear" song. He is made of luxurious brown mohair with a lighter shade on his paws and muzzle. He has big brown glass eyes, a hand-sewn nose and the Merrythought label sewn onto his right foot pad. He wears a white bow with some of the lyrics written on it. He comes in perfect condition with all tags still attached. These Merrythought bears come without boxes.
This bear has had only one grown-up owner/collector. He has been sitting in a wardrobe together with other bears and dolls.
He is now looking for a new loving home.
