This is the Steiff "Happy" Anniversary Replica 1926 Bear. Year 1990. Limited edition of 5,000 pieces worldwide. This is No. 3324. White tag in ear and button in ear trademark. White paper tag on chest still attached. Handmade in Germany.
This is an absolutely stunning bear, made as a replica of the first "Happy" bear that Steiff created in 1926. Brown tipped thick mohair of finest quality. Wood-shaving fillings. Fully jointed. Big middle brown glass eyes. Off-white/beige felt pads. Brown embroidered nose and claws. Raspberry red bow around neck. Working growler. Happy measures 65 cm / 25,59 inches. The bear comes in perfect condition with a box and certificate.
This is a very rare and hard to find bear!
Happy is part of a private teddy bear collection and has been living with other teddy bears and dolls in a non-smoking and pet-free environment. She (he?) is now looking for a new loving home!
