John Bauer Troll "Långöron" – Rosa Ljung
Original Swedish handicraft by handicraft manufacturer Rosa Ljung, Torekov, Sweden.
Designer and ceramist Christina Praestgaard, has made this John Bauer Troll "Långöron" ("Long-Ears"). It's a wonderfully impressive and carefully made reproduction of the drawing Trolls and Princess from the fairy tale "Äventyret" (The Adventure) by Swedish artist John Bauer (made in 1915).
Every troll is hand-painted, making them all unique.
"Långöron" is the big brother Troll in the fairy tale. He has long hairy ears that reaches all the way down to the ground. He is trying to persuade the Princess to marry him by offering her a delicious snake.
"Långöron" measures approximately 16 cm / 6,30 inches and comes in perfect condition with a little booklet/certificate in Swedish.
The other figures in this collectors series are "Trollmor" (Mother Troll), "Stornäsa" (Big Nose), "Väldig haka" (Giant Chin) and Prinsessan (The Princess). Currently not available.
