Pewter Vase – Hand-chased – Svenskt Tenn – Year 1970
Hand-chased pewter vase made in Sweden in 1970. On bottom there are several stamps: Authentic Svenskt Tenn stamp. Signature (manufacturer ?) stamp Göthlin. Also TESI AB. The Swedish control-numbering stamp ("angel-mark") U9 (= year 1970) and authentic hand-chased mark.
I'm not really sure who is the original manufacturer/artist here. If it is Svenskt Tenn AB, then we're talking about the famous brand Svenskt Tenn established in 1924 by Estrid Eriksson and designer Josef Frank. Should it be Göthlin TESI AB, this pewter vase was made in Gothenburg, Sweden by a well-known manufacturer.
The pewter vase comes in very good condition. It measures approx. 19 cm / 7,48 inches (height) and 13,5 cm / 5,31 inches (top width).
