The Austrian handcrafted enamel table bells by email specialist Studio Steinböck / Steinbock are so beautiful in their floral and figurative art déco style. In a way they remind me of pieces of filigree-work. Each one of them has its own individual sound. Like sparkling crystals! They are definitely an exquisite work of art.
As far as I know the first bell in this series was made in 1975. The annual bells are all made in limited editions and has their individual numbers inside. Some of them also has a name written just outside the authentic Studio Steinböck hallmark (which comes in two slightly different variations). My guess is that the delicately written names are the different craftmen's signature, although I haven't got that confirmed anywhere. Another possibility could be that they are names given to the annual bells.
The bells measures approximately 11,5 cm / 4.5 inches.
