Arzberg Porcelain Bottle with Cap – Christmas 1956
German Arzberg Porcelain Bottle with screw cap in porcelain. On the bottom it is written by manufacturer: "Arzberg Weihnachten 1956" (Christmas 1956).
The off-white bottle has a beautiful black motif on the frontside. It depicts a few trees and birds flying high above, reminding of Chinese or Japanese art in its most serene form. On the backside there is a saying in German by the Chinese philosopher Laots'e: "Das Allerzarteste überwindet das Allerhärteste – LAOTS'E" ("The most delicate overcomes the most severe" – freely translated).
The bottle measures 13 cm / 5,11 inches. It comes in excellent condition, no cracks, chips, scratches or other damage.
This bottle is a very rare item.
