GENERAL INFORMATION: Although situated in Sweden, many of my customers are non-Swedish speaking, and that's the reason why I have chosen to use English as the main language on this site.
All prices are in Euros (€ / EUR). A currency converter is available to the left on all pages. I try to set my prices according to the current value I know of the particular item.
Formerly called The Golden Chain Tree, I have recently re-named and re-constructed the website. (The old domain is now pointing to the new one.) I have a large stock, and most of the items are yet to be added to the new design. I kindly ask you to be patient and apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you. Should there be anything in particular you are looking for, please feel free to ask. I might find it!
Most items on my website are available for immediate delivery otherwise they are clearly marked as on hold or sold. Occasionally I'm not able to mark items sold immediately and I hope this does not cause too much upset.
All my items are sold on the secondary market. They are all part of a private collection and an estate. Most items have been stored in wardrobes. All items come from non-smoking and pet-free environments. If not in Mint or Perfect condition, the items are never less than in a condition described as Excellent or Very Good (see table to the right). I will always try to describe any damage visible to my eyes as accurate as possible. Photos will be available of any damage that may occur.

HOW TO ORDER AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Included on every item page is a PayPal Buy Now-button (all major credit cards). I'm currently not able to offer any Add to Cart- and View Cart-options, due to the fact that PayPal doesn't offer an automatic shipping calculator based on my destination (Sweden). This means that if you want to purchase several items you will either have to buy them separately, one by one using the Buy Now-buttons, or use the ORDER form letting me know which items you are interested in and your shipping destination. Then I can send you a PayPal invoice to your e-mail address instead. PayPal is one of the safest way to send money online and as a buyer you don't pay any fees at all.
If you on the other hand don't wish to use PayPal at all, please fill the form under ORDER, and let me know what you are interested in, your shipping destination, and which of the other payments options available on this site you would like to go for.
A part from accepting payments to my PayPal account, through the Buy Now-buttons, I also accept payments to my Payson account (similar to PayPal), to my Swedish Bank account in Nordea Bank AB, Sweden and to Plusgirot, Sweden. Please note that these options are not featured in the Buy Now-buttons. Instead please use the ORDER form as described above. As soon as we both have agreed on the purchase including shipping costs and what payment option we both prefer (other than PayPal), I will send you either a Payson invoice or give you further instructions for a international bank transfer.

SHIPPING/HANDLING INFORMATION: All items are sent by Posten, Sweden, using the Swedish Post Airmail, Swedish Post Parcel services or Swedish Post EMS International Express services. All packages over 2 kgs (4.40 lbs) receive an ID/tracking-number. Although this is not required, there is a Shipping insurance option (above every Buy it Now-button) at an extra cost of € 10.00, or the item(s) will be sent at your own risk. For the EMS option there is no insurance option available, but the package is trackable from door to door.
Items sent with Airmail letter (items weighing under 2 kgs / 4.40 lbs) do not receive an ID/tracking-number. In these cases I suggest you to choose registered mail at an extra cost of either €6.50 or €10.00 depending on the value of the item, or they will be sent at your own risk.
Note that insurance is not available for coins, due to postal rules.
All orders and dispatch details will be confirmed by e-mail. I aim to dispatch your goods within 48 – 72 hours after receiving payment.
LAYAWAY SCHEME: I have a layaway scheme for purchases totaling over Euro 200.00. Here is how it works: You select an item (or items) that you wish to buy. Send me an order by filling the form under CONTACT (please note, not the Order form) and a deposit of 25% of the whole sum (I will send you a PayPal Money Order regarding the deposit). You can then pay the balance over the following 3 months. I will ship your order when paid for in full (including postage/shipping costs).
Please note that this is a binding contract, and deposits are non-refundable when contracts are not completed as agreed.
To use my layaway service, please contact me first as described before, and I will discuss the details with you. It's that easy!
RETURN POLICY: When you receive your goods, please inspect carefully. If you are not delighted, please contact me immediately. Should the decision be made to return the item, you must do so within 7 days of receipt. Please inform me if this is your intention. As soon as I receive it, I will make sure it is in its original condition. If that is the case, I will notify you and gladly refund the cost of the item, less shipping/handling/insurance.
BROWSING AND NAVIGATING: I have chosen to categorize the items at first-hand according to subject, then according to brand/manufacturer/artist. A list of links to all available brands, manufacturers and artists are available on the Home page. Some items are categorized according to the material they are made of, for example pewter and copper ware items.
In the Collectibles collection you may use the arrows in the upper right corner to navigate among the pages.

WEB STANDARDS AND BROWSERS: This website is produced using Sandvox, a Mac web design software by Karelia. Where possible, Sandvox-procuced webpages are fully compliant with the XHTML 1.0 Strict standard. Where not (for example the page contains non-XHTML Raw HTML), output is compliant XHTML Transitional or HTML 4.0.1.
To correctly display a Sandvox site, a web browser must support the CSS standard. If a particularly old browser is used (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac), the site will either appear incorrectly, or without any styling at all. All modern web browsers should be able to fully display Sandvox sites.
ENVIRONMENT: I'm truly committed to environmental issues. To me it's the most fundamental of all issues to be solved. I believe we can all do our best to save this planet! Recycling and reusing is one effort. This is a second hand business, which makes it a re-using business per definition. When I pack the items I always reuse boxes, paper, plastics, etc., definitely making sure that everything is safely packed when being shipped. Should you require a receipt, I'll be glad to send you one electronically. I also use A2 Hosting, who are proud to be a Green Host. And my business is situated where I live, on my organic farm, so I don't have to travel to get there. My goal is to make as little impact on the environment as possible!
DONATIONS: There are many organizations I admire very much for the what they do for saving our planet and all species living here, and in the end of the year I aim to donate at least a symbolic part of the income of the sales on this site to some of them. Two of those are:
